A guide and driver of us will meet you at your hotel/residence to pick you up, and start driving for Old Dhaka immediately.

It is a Hindu temple. Just one Km north-west of Lalbagh fort, lading from 12 century. It is largest temple of Dhaka city. Whole year it is open for all, from 7AM– 9PM.Every year 2nd week of October Durga Puja festival here colorfully.

Continue driving and visit Khan Mohammed Mridha Mosque – a beautiful mosque from the Mughal period built on a raised platform.

Prince Azam, the third son of Aurangazeb started the construction of the Lalbagh fort and it was finished by Subedar Shaistha Khan. Azam Khan designed it combining a palace and a barracks. The Present attraction of this fort is a three domed mosque, the Mausoleum of Paribibi (daughter of Shaistha khan), the Darbar hall, a pond with cross-beam and Hammam(a place to taking bath, keeping hot & cold water).The mausoleum of Paribibi is an unique and important structure of Bangladesh, only where black basalt, white marble and encaustics tiles were used. The Lalbagh fort is open 10AM—5 PM, everyday except Sunday. It is in Lalbagh (old Dhaka). Anyone can come here by taxi/Cab from any place of Dhaka city

It is a pink palace of Dhaka, where any people interested to come. It is two-stored building in the bank of the river Buriganga.There is a dome in the middle of the building. It is renowned as a palace of the Nawab family. But at first it was built in the 18th century as a pleasure -house of Zaminder of Faridpur Sheikh Enayetullah. After his death his son handed it to the French marchants. The Nawab of Dhaka, Alimullah bought it from them and made it his residece. In 1872 Nawab Abdul Gani rebuilt this palace and named it ‘ Ahsan Manzil’. This building is the witness of the Bengal division, the Muslim league & independence of greater India. Ahsan manzil is now a museum, 23 galleries decorated with all historical goods & photos. It is now under supervision of the National museum authority. Ahsan Manzil is in Islampur (Old Dhaka), near Sadargaht launch terminal. Taxi, Bus, Rickshaw are available for tourist to come here easily. It is open on Sunday – Thursday at 10:30AM – 5:30PM (April-September) & 9:30AM — 4:30PM (October–March).Saturday it is open 2:30PM – 7:30 PM.

Take a rickshaw and visit Star Mosque – a beautiful mosque fully decorated with stars, and Armenian Church– an orthodox church built by Armenians in Dhaka. Drop at a restaurant in Sadarghat.

Lunch at local hotel

Walk to (05 minutes) and visit Sadarghat River Station. This is the main river port in Dhaka and one of the largest river station in South Asia. Passenger ferries leave for southern part of Bangladesh from here to all over Barisal division.

Walk to the boat station (10 minutes) and ride a country boat at river Buriganga. This river is a live and vibrant place full of activities. You’ll see hundreds of country boats crossing people in two side of the river, small vendors selling goods on their boats, passenger and cargo ferries passing by.

Take a short rickshaw ride, and walk in the Hindu Street (Shankharia Bazar). This is a unique place – the center of Hindu culture and community in Old Dhaka – old buildings raised in both side of the street, which is full of jeweler’s shops, rickshaws, and people.
