After Breakfast start our journey for Rangamati. Enroute we will take a short break at the 2nd world war cemetery in Comilla. We enjoy magnificent beauty of ruin of ancient (7th to 12th centuries) Old Buddhist Civilization at Mainamoti which includes Shalban Bihara, Itakhola Mura, Lalmai Hill, Mainamoti Museum etc. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After breakfast we will enjoy the most fascinating boat cruise in the Kaptai Lake with its splendid setting of lush landscape and scenic grandeur. The journey through the Suvolong point and entering into the widest part of lake will be an amazing experience which is more exciting than that of Kashmir valley. The boat journey through the vast expanse (spreading over 680sq. km.) of crystal clear water flanked by hills and evergreen dense forest with rich tribal villages temples and tribal markets. After Breakfast start full day sightseeing. We visit the Bhomong King’s residence and colorful native market. You may go for a hike down to the Sangu River and walk to the Bhom tribal village including trekking to Chimbuk hilltop (3800 feet high pick) to witness the spectacular sunset. After Breakfast. 7.00 am Start Journey to Dhaka. Evening Enrout visit he oldest Capital of Bengal Sonargaon. Sonargaon (means golden city), 27 km. east of Dhaka city, was the capital of Bengal from 13th to early 17th century during the Chandra and Deva dynasty. The Panam was a flourished city in those days. In 1611 the Mughals considered the location too exposed to the Portuguese and the Mogh pirates and established Dhaka as their capital. It was a very flourished centre both for weaving of the muslin and export to different parts of the world. But nothing of muslin can be found now. Folklore Museum at Sonargaon open from 9:00am to 5:00pm everyday except Wednesday from 10:00am to 2:00pm and closed on Thursdays. Arrival Dhaka transfer to hotel. Over night at Dhaka. (B.L.D)
